Merlin is Arthur’s manservant, so technically, doesn’t he have power over almost every servant in the castle? He brings food and does Arthur’s laundry and gives him baths and mucks the stables and acts as his squie… There are kitchen staff and laundresses and… people in charge of baths and stable hands and squires. It makes me think that the other servants may be tricking Merlin into thinking he has to do that, for a prank, or maybe out of jealousy. And when Arthur orders Merlin to do some things, he assumes Merlin tells other people to do it, and he does other things because… he wants to?
I hadn’t given much thought to this, but it’s technically true. Which is really amusing.

They see me tumblin'...they hatin'...
Hey peeps! This is my tumblr. As it stands, I don't have a theme or anything, but most of what I post is intended to be funny or entertaining. Except for occassional rant - all of which have to do with my various TV obsessions (mostly Merlin, Supernatural, and Sherlock.) Also, I have a mild, but prevalent fascination with Bradley James - which I'm okay with, because it's not like I'll ever meet him *fingers crossed*
